How do I know i am buying the correct type of shelf?
This can be tricky, especially as we offer 5 different types of shelves. There are only small differences in each one but it is important to choose the correct one for your house and particular room.
1. Woolacombe Scaffold shelf –
This type of shelf is perfect for any room really (apart from the bathroom) where you want the shelf to stand alone on the wall. It is suitable for all those walls, especially masonry. If you are fixing into stud walls, then you will need the appropriate fixings. These brackets are industrial style and compliment the scaffold board shelf perfectly.
This scaffold shelf comes with industrial metal brackets and fixings included in the price.
2. Croyde Alcove Shelf -
This type of shelf is good if you have an alcove to fit into. That is where you have walls on each end of the shelf. We supply wooden alcove brackets that you will need to attach to the wall and then sit the shelf on top of them.
Seriously good rustic scaffold shelves have never been easier, these come with wooden batons and fixings that you can fit into any alcove.
3. Bathroom scaffold shelf -
Incredible rustic wooden scaffold shelves all made and finished perfectly for your bathroom, whether you want to store towels, toothbrushes or toilet cleaner then these are perfect for the job. Each single bathroom shelf comes with 2 industrial brackets with powder coated in black which suit them perfectly and prevent rusting,
4. Mini Bathroom shelf -
Incredible rustic wooden scaffold shelves all made and finished perfectly for your bathroom, whether you want to store, toothbrushes, contact lens cases or glasses, then these are perfect for the job. This one is designed to sit above your sink and hence are narrower at 10cm deep. They are powder coated in black to prevent rusting.
5. Radiator Shelf -
An Incredible radiator shelf all made and finished perfectly for your house, whether you are using it to sit candles, pictures or lovely flowers on, this has got your name written all over it.
Each Radiator shelf comes with 2 x Hairpin legs in black which suit them perfectly, along with a baton which you will need to attach to the wall where the shelf will sit on. Just requires drilling a couple of holes.
You just need to decide if you want 71cm or 86cm legs.

Weight of the shelves -
This shelf weight depends on the size, so a 30cm shelf weighs 1kg, and a 90cm shelf weighs 3kg. The brackets weigh an extra 1.5kg on top of this
Sourcing the timber -
As with all our products they come locally sourced wood, within 15miles of HQ on Dartmoor National Park. They have been hand picked and handmade to make the ultimate rustic shelf for your home. Cut and sanded in our workshop in Devon. These are a must for any house.
